Blood Bowl is a fantastic game. It’s a satisfying cross between Warhammer and Gird Iron that requires equal parts tactics and brutality. Starting with the 2016 edition, Games Workshop has been putting out some pretty nice plastic teams at reasonable prices. Early teams in this new range could be a tad on the bland side, but newer ones have had a bit more personality to them.
There were many years before this where such support was not forthcoming from Games Workshop and the game was largely left to rot. Into that void came a number of third-party companies, eager to sell cool, unique fantasy football miniatures to the ravenous fanbase who were still playing and enjoying the game.
There are loads of really cool, alternative sculpts and teams out there for Blood Bowl. I started an irregular series about these miniatures and released three posts, each of which looked at two teams:
