Creator Spotlight: Code2/WonderWorlds

In the second of our Creator Spotlight features (see the first here), let’s take a look at Code2, aka WonderWorlds. Code2 is a digital sculptor who produces detailed buildings, perfect for tabletop gaming. I’ve been a follower of this creator for some time, and backed his Patreon for a good while – pretty much until I realised I wasn’t really using my FDM printer all that much any more.

The buildings produced by Code2 come in a variety of sizes. Small accessories that would litter a street are presented alongside fantasy/historical town buildings, all the way through to massive, multi-part printing projects that produce grand edifices of beautiful architecture.

One really nice example of his work is Fischfalle, a modular fishing town:

This is a really gorgeous set, and is definitely modular, with loads of room for customisation. I really love the design of this town. I’m also very impressed with the price. The entire set costs just $30. That’s very reasonable.

I feel that all of this creator’s offerings are reasonably priced, and having printed some pieces myself, I can attest to the quality. Here are some more highlights from his range:

Whilst all pieces look good, some are truly spectacular. The inside of the buildings are well-detailed, and the sculptor has a really good understanding of his medium. This is all for FDM printers and the files are well-constructed and pragmatic, with an awareness of the limitations of the material used.

One example of the spectacular architecture produced is the detailing of the massive theatre which, like most of Code2’s pieces, can be printed without supports. Take a look at this:

I really love the WonderWorlds range from Code2, and there’s a huge catalogue that’s been built up over time. I can also recommend his Patreon as a fantastic deal. As usual, there are massive savings to be had, with buildings being obtainable at vastly reduced prices, and a discount for the webstore for the rest of the range.
