Having completed a test model for my long-threatened Genestealer Cults army, it’s time to build more of the army. This army is going to have a lot of minis, so this is really the starting point. Another horde army… yay…
I started off with a Broodcoven, a handful of the other character models, and the Combat patrol boxed set. The first set I built was the Broodcoven, which includes a Patriarch, a Primus, a Magus, and a pair of familiars:

I’ll be honest; although these are really key and central characters for a cult, none are models that I find particularly interesting or especially exciting. Still, they’re pretty important models, and ones that will see plenty of use.
The most exciting bit of the Genestealer Cults comes in the form of all of the little heroes that you can sprinkle through the army. I’ve build 4 of these so far:

My favourite is the Biophagus, followed by the Nexos. These are cool minis that really showcase the character of the army. I love them, and I’m really looking forward to painting them up.
Next up, I cracked open the Combt Patrol and built the Aberrants. These heavily mutated melee warriors are really cool:

I’m not entirely sure I’ll really use these chaps, but I’m looking forward to painting them. They look great and I love the concept. They were also really straightforward to put together, which is always a plus.
Finally, at the time of writing, I’m working on the Neophytes. There are 20 of them in the box, so I decided to do a shotgun unit and an autogun one. I’m midway through the build at the moment:

They were pretty okay to build as well. I really like the style of these chaps. I expect I’m going to get a bit tored of how many of the damn things I need to paint, but hey ho! I’ll hopefully get them finished up and primed tomorrow so I can make a start.
I’ve still got the Acolytes to build, and the truck. I’m probably going to leave the truck for now, as I still don’t really know what I want to do with the truck. I’ll work it out.
40K isn’t really my game. I prefer Age of Sigmar. It’s just more fun, y’know? And fun is rather the point. The new edition of 40K looks pretty promising in that it will hopefully cut a lot of the needless, pointless bloat. That has me pretty positive and excited and that is why this army is suddenly making it onto the painting slate. Good times, yo!

So i started the golden toilet army/cult but now i want to take it to an national or even international level and i dont see anything that would help with that. PS I only read 2 lines
