Completed: Ogor Squatch Squad (Icefall Yhetees)

With the first game of Woehammer’s Path to Glory campaign under my belt, I spent some glory on a new unit in the form of some Icefall Yhetees. I printed up a batch of 6 from Epic Miniatures. I only needed 3, but did a bigger batch for two reasons. First, it’s handy to have extra minis on the plate, just in case of any misprints. Second, I try to optimise my print runs and don’t like to leave a build plate mostly empty. It hurts me.

The prints came out well, and I spent a few hours painting them up:

These were good prints. The textures were good and sculpts are fun. They are chunkier than the Games Workshop minis, which is a plus for me.

In the game, they aren’t the best unit around, but I like them. In fitting them in with my Destruction models though, the name doesn’t seem all that appropriate. There’s no ice to be had. Therefore, to me, these are not ‘Icefall Yhetees’…

They’re the Squatch Squad!

I’m not sure what’s next. I have a couple of half-finished minis that I can push on, and a printed Slaughtermaster. I also could crack on with the bigger Ogor minis, like the Frostlord.
