Sometimes you see a list that just makes you smile. This was the case recently when I saw a Mancrusher-heavy list on a Patreon post from Plastic Craic.
Having only currently finished up three Mega-Gargants, I do often use Mancrushers in my lists; at least when I’m trying not to use unpainted minis (as I do have a fourth, unpainted Mega-Gargant, plus a fifth if you count my Troggoth-themed one).
This list consisted of a Warstomper, nine Mancrushers, and then the Kruleboyz Regiment of Renown, which includes a Killbow and two units of Boltboyz. If one wanted to really double down on the Mancrushers, one could cut the Kruleboyz to make room for another pair of Mancrushers, bringing us up to a total of eleven.

Having already painted four Mancrushers, I’d made a start, but I still had a fair few to get to. The problem was, nothing filled me with a greater sense of impending boredom than painting that same model another five to seven times. It was fine in that initial batch, but there’s not much that you can really do to change the look of the model without some considerable resculpting that I just do not have the skill to do.
With the in mind, it was time for the ol’ Elegoo Saturn to go brr. I broke out the STLs for Kragger’s Giants from Cast n Play.

This is a really fantastic set of files, with some gorgeous sculpts. Not all are immediately suited to my purposes, but they could be with a bit of rescaling.
I selected 5 giants for an initial batch and managed to cram them onto just two (very full) build plates. Here are the models I selected:

And here’s a quick picture of them after some cleanup:

Next up, I need to get some base texture down and get them primed. And that’s where it will stop for now. I really want to get these guys done, along with the Kruleboyz that I also need for this list, but I am starting to feel the pressure to get my Flesh-Eater Courts finished for an upcoming event in October. I got off to a great start, but I’ve tailed off a bit as the main units of the army, the Knights, are proving to be quite fiddly to paint.

those are some pretty cool models mate.
