I actually finished the Chronomantic Cogs Endless Spell before I finished the Underworlds Warband and Blood Bowl team that I’ve shared over the past couple of days. The Magister wasn’t done though. He took just a wee bit longer.
The Magister veers into being a little bit… too colourful. Then again, that’s kind of the theme I’ve been going for with this army. You can see the evidence below:
Its a vibe.
I’m not a fan of the stock Magister model from Games Workshop. I printed up one instead, on a suitably impressive hero rock. He was a bit fiddly to clean up and paint, but I got through it:
Yeah, turned out alright. The model isn’t my favourite thing, but I like it a lot better than the standard model. The colours are a bit garish, but again that’s the theme!
Alongside the magister, I also finished up another Endless Spell. This time, it was the Chronomantic Cogs:
This was fine to paint. I actually really enjoyed it. It was quick job, mostly being done in the hour between arriving at club one Thursday and the start of our Traveller session.
