It had been a while since our local gaming club’s last painting contest. The turnout for the Northern Knights’ most recent contest was pretty darn good. The theme was monsters and vehicles and we had 9 fantastic entries:
How cool, eh? What I really like is that many of these models represent some real progress for our painters. We have painters at club who have come on so well over the past few years!
We voted on the entries on the night, and the results were tallied:
- 1st: Karazai
- 2nd: Keeper of Secrets
- 3rd: Neferata
The Keeper of Secrets turned out particularly well. I think the skin turned out great! My own entry, my Neferata, came third. Given the standard of this contest, I’m really delighted!
Next time, it’s single models. Those are due in January. I’m considering submitting my Curseling, Ogroid Thaumaturge, or my Marlena Webster. Or, I might finish something else in good time.
