My local gaming club, the Northern Knights, hold a lot of painting contests throughout the year. They mostly get a few entries and we vote on them during a club night. The big one each year is the contest that we hold for the Caithness Model Show.
Club members are asked to prepare a single miniature on a 40mm or smaller base. Whilst most of our contests are voted on by club members, this contest is decided by visitors to the Model Show.
