Next up for my Flesh-Eater Courts army is the faction terrain piece, the Charnal Throne. Like Nagash, this comes from Heroes Infinite by Raging Heroes.
It was fun and quick to paint:
Note the irregularly shaped base. This is because I printed a template in the shape of the bottom of the original model to ensure it would be tournament legal. I initially printed off the template quite thin, but it just totally warped beyond all usefulness. I then reprinted at 3mm thickness and that was a lot better and a lot more solid.
I do still feel a bit like I am skirting the edges of this army, rather than diving in and just getting the bulk of it done. Sure, I’ve done 60 infantry for it, but there’s a bunch of knights that I need to get my teeth into.
