Humble Bundle: Worlds of Warhammer 2024

The sheer amount of Warhammer-related fiction that gets put out by the Black Library, Games Workshop’s publishing imprint, is actually pretty staggering. There’s just so much of it. The Horus Heresy series alone is vast, and there’s a ton of 40K content. There’s also a surprisingly large number of Age of Sigmar novels, despite a common complaint among bitter fans of The old World being that there’s no background to go with the game. Go figure.

This Humble Bundle features 27 titles and will set you back just £14.33. That’s less than 2 paperbacks these days. Here’s what you get for your money:

Okay, so there are some novels here that don’t appeal to me all that much. Generally, you can tell which ones aren’t for me because there’s a space marine on the cover without the words ‘Horus’ and ‘Heresy’. Kidding! Actually, this set seems surprisingly sparse on Space Marines. I can only see two non-HH Space Marine novels, and the one I’ve read (Avenging Son) is actually quite good.

I’m surprised by how much Age of Sigmar is in here. I’m also a bit disappointed to say that I have never actually read an AoS novel. Yeah, as much as I love the game and the setting, I’ve just not made the time. I should. I will. There are some interesting 40K titles, too. Talon of Horus is good, and I’m always keen on some Word Bearers fiction.

The value of this bundle is excellent and I’m going to pick it up largely to get started on some AoS fiction.
