Completed: My Second Transcendent C’Tan Shard

Having completed my first Transcendent Shard a few weeks ago, I wanted to push on and get the next one done, too. Never let it be said that I don’t take my own advice, as I picked another STL from one of my alt-C’Tan posts.

There was a slight misprint in one of the legs of the spider, but it was easy to cover up, given the textures that I use when painting my Necrons. The spider is definitely my favourite part of this mini, as it lets me really tie the whole thing into my army’s colour scheme.

Here’s what I ended up with:

I’m pretty happy with this, though he doesn’t quite look as good as the previous shard, which might be my favourite miniature that I’ve painted this year. I now need to find one more miniature for my third and final Transcendent C’Tan Shard.

I’ve found lots of really great models whilst searching, so I might also do another C’Tan proxy post at some point, too.
