Okay, so I’m actually really chuffed with this model. It was tricky to find something to represent the new Varghulf miniature. The old one was based on a 60mm base and I had decided to use the old, Games Workshop Green Knight miniature to represent him. I’d built him:
The thing is, he was already a little bit small on that base, and then GW released the new Varghulf Courtier as part of the recent FEC refresh:
The base was a big oval and the Green Knight would just look far too small on it. I started looking for something else to use, but I just couldn’t find anything suitable. I considered scaling up the Heroes infinite Green Knight, but then I found a lovely Green Knight miniature from Lost Kingdom.
I went with it, and I’m really happy with him. He’s really going to be the centrepiece for the Spearhead that I’ve been building.
So much green!
That leaves me with just the Morbheg Knights to finish up for the Spearhead. I need to finish 3 of them, but I’ve put together 12, all in all.
