At the time I wrote this post, I was really worried about the future of our local gaming group. Our numbers were really down and we seemed to be in trouble. We were losing money every week. Since then, things have picked up, thankfully. Or rather, they mostly have.
We actually run two nights a week; Tuesdays and Thursdays. Thursdays are seen as the ‘main’ night, and we have access to more space, and our boards and terrain for miniature games. They’ve been going far better! On Tuesdays, we’re in a smaller space and tend to run board games, card games, and roleplaying games. In recent months, Tuesdays have really been struggling on nights where there’s not an RPG group in. I’d hate to see this go away, but we’re just not attracting regular crowds in the first half of the week.
