I always loved the aesthetic of Warmachine and Hordes, and I especially adored some of the cool themed forces that you could field. It’s a real pity that the game was not able to continue under Privateer Press. Given their history of miniature-heavy shovelware games, I’m not the biggest fan of Steam Forge, who now hold the license for the games, but I hope that they are able to prove my concerns unfounded.
I saved the best until last. I love the Minions miniatures range. It’s mostly split into pigs and crocs and both are excellent. I love the brutish personality of the pigs, including some really fantastic infantry and warbeasts. The crocs are probably better models, with some nice scalework that would take really well to contrast paints. I’d love an army of either group, or even both.
