Having recently finished both my first unit of Crypt Horrors and my Armies on Parade Board, I’m feeling pretty good about my Flesh-Eater Courts at the moment. Of course, the army isn’t finished in any usable way and I need some more copies of key units. As such, let’s dive right back in!
I’m not in a huge rush for these units, and I’m hoping to paint some different stuff in between. At this point, I’m just enjoying plodding along.
Let’s start with the units in the form of 6 more Crypt Horrors, 6 more Morbheg Knights, and 20 more Crypt Guard:
Seeing it all here, it feels like a lot! I’m going to try to finish these before moving onto new units, like the Crpyt Flayers.
I’ve also got a couple of characters ready to paint up. These are a second Crypt Haunter Courtier and a Crypt Infernal Courtier:
The Haunter is a bit iffy because he’s the old Green Knight model. He’s therefore a bit smaller than the Crypt Horror’s he’s meant to be leading. I like the mini though, so we’re going with it! He was originally meant to be the Varghulf, but then GW increased the base size of that character and I had to upscale.
I’m more excited for the Crypt Infernal, as he’s going to be a great test mini to work out what I’m going to do with the Crypt Horrors, who will be hippogriff knights.
As I said, these might not all be the next minis that I do, but it’s where the Flesh-Eaters are currently sitting.
