The Game of the Month series that I’ve been doing for the past couple of years has really opened me back up to talking about board games. I’m glad of this, because that particular topic of discussion had largely run stale for me for quite a while.
I think a lot of the key points in this post still stands, and I don’t think the industry is as healthy as it was in the 2010s. There’s still innovation, of course, and there are some really interesting publishers, such as Leder, that exist outside of the Asmodeee bubble.
