It’s Friday, and here on No Rerolls that means it’s time for an all-new 5 on Friday. We’re going to start with 5 exciting releases for this week before moving on to our usual digest of some of our favourite articles from the past week. Of course, we’re slow readers, so don’t be surprised if there are some articles that are a little older – these are just some of the great articles we happen to have actually read in the past week.
Releases & Previews
Every week there are many games, books, and miniatures released. This will probably be a mix of previews, preorders, and releases, and with release dates being the way they are in this industry, it’s always pretty approximate. Excuses out of the way, here are 5 of the releases that caught our attention this week:
Games Workshop releases a new High Elf team for Blood Bowl – The new High Elf team brings their signature mix of precision passing and arrogant finesse back to the pitch, offering a fast, disciplined roster built to out‑position opponents and punish every mistake. It’s a sleek, high‑skill squad for coaches who’d rather win with elegance than brute force.

They’ve done a great job with this team. They utterly channel the aesthetic of the High Elves of the Old World. The various positions each represent a different part of the classic army. Another Blood Bowl team that is just a perfect representation of the faction.

Free League releases a PIRATE BORG supplement; Down Among the Dead – Down Among the Dead drags your crew beneath the waves and into the rot‑choked underworld of PIRATE BORG, where drowned gods whisper, cursed wrecks groan, and the line between treasure and tomb gets very thin. It’s a grim, barnacle‑crusted expansion that deepens the game’s horror without losing its swagger.

Packed with new foes, foul locales, and rules for voyages into the realms of the dead, this supplement turns every dive, delve, and desperate escape into a brutal test of nerve. It’s PIRATE BORG at its most haunted; perfect for tables that want their swashbuckling soaked in dread.

Archon Studio is taking preorders for their new Starcraft miniatures game – The Founders Edition two player starter set drops you straight into the Terran-Zerg war with premium components, exclusive early extras, and everything you need to hit the table fast. It’s a sleek, limited‑run launch box that showcases Archon’s sculpting and gives players a head start in the fight for the Koprulu sector.

Built as the definitive on‑ramp for the new StarCraft minis game, this set pairs two fully playable forces with terrain, rules, and founder‑only bonuses — a collector‑grade starter that doubles as a competitive core for anyone ready to command, swarm, or bunker down from day one.

Hellwinter Forge of Wonders releases Hood, the Legend of Sherwood – Hood: The Legend of Sherwood reimagines Robin Hood through a darker, older lens; a Sherwood where outlawry, pagan magic, and political cruelty collide under the forest canopy. It’s a folklore‑rich OSE setting packed with wolfsheads, cursed nobles, and ancient powers that make the myth feel wild, dangerous, and newly alive.

Blending historical grit with pagan spirits, outlaw heists, and a fully realised Sherwood sandbox, this supplement turns the Robin Hood cycle into a living campaign world complete with classes, antagonists, hideout rules, adventures, and a heist generator that keeps the pressure high. It’s a sharp, atmospheric toolkit for anyone wanting Old England with teeth..

The Army Painter to release a historical, Soviet Union-themed paint set – The Historical: WWII Soviet Union paint set gives painters a full palette of authentic Red Army tones, from telogreika ochres to layered Soviet khakis and steel‑helmet greens. It’s a practical, historically grounded bundle built to bring Eastern Front infantry to life with fast, accurate colour matching straight from the bottle.

With twenty Warpaint Fanatic paints covering uniforms, gear, skin tones, metals, and shading, this set delivers everything needed to field convincing Soviet forces. It’s a focused, ready‑to‑use toolkit for hobbyists who want reliable colours and clean results without hunting through a dozen ranges.

Blog Posts & Articles
The meat of 5 on Friday, the articles are listed in no particular order, so let’s get into some recommendations:
Marvel Crisis Protocol tournament report: Ferocious February 22Feb2026 @ The Bovine Overlord – Check out this great tournament recap. The author took his Sentinels to a 2-2 finish. The post is packed with awesome action shots of some beautiful minis.
Forward March – Part 6 @ Convert of Die – Striking, grimy, and ready for battle! These troops look fantastic. I imagine they’ll look great as a whole army arrayed for battle.
Damn you Dagda’s Cauldron @ Tiny Painted Heroes – Inis has been sitting on my pile of shame for some time. Reviews like this really encourage me to try and get it to the table. It just sounds like a lot of fun!
A Knightly Test – House Makabius @ A Tabletop Gamer’s Diary – Two things occur to me upon reading this post. First, the Knight is beautiful. Great job! The second is the reassurance of the author saying these minis are supposedly pretty quick and easy to paint. I really hope they’re right for when I get around to my Chaos Knights.
The Ziggurat of Shadows – top view and upper levels @ Dyson’s Dodecahedron – I’ve not looked at this blog for a while, but this post popped up on my feed. It’s great to see that they’re still putting out lots of really cool maps.
