Plastic Craic’s Spearhead Hobby Challenge

Plastic Craic is one of my favourite Age of Sigmar sites, along with Woehammer.  I’ve been taking part in Woehammer’s Slow Grow event and, honestly, my progress has been patchy.  This month finally saw me catch up, which feels pretty damn good.  The final month’s targets are also looking to be pretty doable.

With the Slow Grow challenge coming to an end, it’s not the worst timing in the world for Plastic Craic to launch their own hobby challenge for their Patreon supporters.  It’s a Spearhead hobby challenge.  Should I be jumping into another hobby challenge when I am struggling to meet my commitments for the one I am already in?  Probably not.  Doth “probably not” butter any parsnips?  Nay!

Okay, so we’re doing this.  With what?  I’m not super keen on picking up a new army, so what can I put together?  I did look at some Spearheads last week.

My initial thoughts, barring my acquiring a random Spearhead that I am not expecting, is to either do Ogors, Gitz, or Flesh-Eater Courts.  Fir the Ogors and Gitz, I have models lying around from which I can form an unpainted Spearhead.  For the Flesh-Eater Courts, I have stuff printed (though possibly not cleared up yet) that I can form one from.  I just need to work out something to be a Varghulf…

Yeah, we’ll see what I end up with.  I need to choose for the start of July.
