This was a nice post from 2017 about the games I like to lay with my wife. Reading back over the original post, it all still stands. Not much has especially changed, except that we’ve added a few new games into the regular rotation.
The new games that we’ve added are Terraforming Mars, Clank, and Century. There are probably more, but those are the ones that really come to mind.
On reflection, I’m still a bit surprised that Star Wars: Rebellion featured so prominently in our shared gaming. I re entry took that game to a friend’s house and he found it to be a bit heavy. Yet my wife really liked it, despite not generally liking heavier games.
I guess it just landed well.
Just to break the stereotype and to show that I do remember this sort of thing, next week is our 8th wedding anniversary.
