Bundle of Holding: More Mörk Borg

On this blog, we stan Mörk Borg. This is known. Heck, on this blog, we sell Mörk Borg, or at least supplements thereof. I just love the tone of the game, as set forth in the artwork, writing, and general presentation and attitude. It is post-apocalyptic punk at its very best, and I love it.

I, therefore, get pretty excited when I see a bundle of cool Mörk Borg stuff up for grabs, like this one from Bundle of Holding. This bundle, as is normal from Bundle of Holding, is split into two tiers. The first of these tiers costs $14.95 and earns you the following goodies:

Given that some of these are actually multiple items, let’s expand on that a bit. Here’s a list of the contents:

  • Galgenbeck: Sacrifice
  • Cthork Borg + 5 supplements
  • Dire Mutterings
  • Curic’s Cursed Chapbook

The most interesting parts of this tier for me are Cthork Borg and Dire Mutterings. Cthork Borg is a Cthulhu-mythos-inspired conversion, whilst Dire Mutterings is just a compilation of a lot of cool content. The classes sound particularly fun.

Levelling up to the second tier, you get all the previous stuff plus lots of new items. It’s priced on a threshold that, at the time of writing, is sitting at $30.09. The additional content at this level is:

Again, some of these images represent multiple items, so a list of the included content is useful:

  • 3 Borgian sourcebooks
  • 5 Cthork Borg investigations
  • A Wizard’s Dying Wish
  • Bork Borg

So, first of all, Bork Borg looks hilarious. Like, proper funny. The book promises that it “drastically improves the quantity and variety of dog options in Mörk Borg.” That’s a pledge we cal all appreciate.

Most of the rest of this tier consists of a bunch of adventures. This is mostly for the GM, as he or she will be running these adventures and facilitating these encounters. It ties in particularly well with the previous tier as it adds a bit more meat to the Cthork Borg material. You actually come out of this bundle with a lot of Cthork Borg material.

In terms of value, this is very much a bundle of two halves. The first tier is for everyone, and should be considered by anyone looking to expand their adventures with Mörk Borg. The second tier is very much for GMs. So, yeah, that would be my recommendation. Tier 1 for players. Tier 2 for GMs. Lots of good content, here.
