This post features some thoughts on those games that we loved growing up, and which we’d love to revisit. It was was prompted by Fantasy Flight’s re-release of the classic Star Wars Roleplaying Game from West End Games.
Generally, the post has aged pretty well, and I stand by most of it. The biggest development since then has been the new edition of Heroquest and the general increase in re-releases of older games, as exemplified by companies like Restoration Games.
