I’m still picking away at my Flesh-Eater Courts army after finishing up a batch of ghouls. The latest addition to this force is a model based on The Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The model is from Highlands Miniatures and I had some fun magnetising him.
He was a very quick model, and there’s not a whole lot to him. Honestly, the base was more work than anything else:
Well, the base and the slide transfer. I hadn’t used a transfer since I was a kid and they are way fiddlier than I remember.
Rather nicely, with the addition of the wee dice, there are enough parts that you can actually use this as a self-contained wound marker for the model I have chosen to have it represent; the Ghoul King.
Speaking of the dice, I’m thinking of sneaking one into each army, seeing as I now have one on my FEC and one in my Ogors.
I’m currently working on my Crypt Horrors/Knights and printing up some Crypt Flayers. I couldn’t find a single kit I wanted for them, so I’ve combined a couple of different ones.
