A third batch of Malifaux tokens? Yes, but these are quite different to the larger, 30mm tokens that I previously featured in my other two posts. These are little status tokens that show what effects apply to your minis. Given one of my opponent’s predilections, I expect to have to make extensive use of the burning one…
Oh, I do hate chip damage!
I was a bit doubtful when I bought the files for these tokens and actually printed a batch of them a few months ago which I ended up just binning. They didn’t come out quite right. I think that was down to my exposure settings, and they’ve come out way better this time. I completely filled two build plates and didn’t get a single misprint.
Painting them was a nice experience, as they’re mostly just raised detail, which is fun to pick out with paint. Here are some pics of the 76 tokens:



I love how simple they are, and that the tokens really pop. The bright colours stand out, and I especially love the blue on the shielded tokens. For those, I use Arcane Blue from Privateer Press’ P3 line.
