Finally, I have a worthy general for my Ogors Mawtribes army! I really love the Beastclaw Raiders side of the Ogor army. It was actually what I had intended to focus on when I first started putting together an Ogor army. My first completed unit for the army was some Mournfang Cavalry.
Since then, I took part in Woehammer’s Path to Glory campaign, which saw me put together a 600 point list, and then expanding it out to 2k. Unfortunately, it wasn’t really possible to put together a Beastclaw list for this. I’d have liked to! Instead, I put together some more typical, footslogging Ogors.
Now, I’m starting to get around to the Beastclaw Raiders. I finished my first Stonehorn, which carries my Frostlord into battle;
It turned out well! I’m pretty happy with this. It really didn’t take long either. It feels like it took less time than the Curseling did, actually.
Going forward, and to finish up my hobby goals for the year, I’ve got two more Stonehorns to finish. I’m hoping to get these done in the next week or so. Ultimately, I’d like to do more Beastclaw Raiders later, but these are my immediate goals.

That’s the thing; I had Ogres back in the day! Revisiting them feels like I’m doing it all twice.

I’d like to think I’d paint them better now than I would have ten years ago, at least!! Have you thought about getting any of the new ogor stuff that’s come out recently for Warcry?
