The good folks at Bundle of Holding are currently running a Free League bundle, featuring a handful of that fantastic company’s games. As an aside, Free League also have a fantastic new website that you should totally check out. It’s really cool!
As a publisher, Free League is amazing and puts out a lot of really cool games. I’ve picked up a few of them and have run some, too. This bundle contains 6 games and a further two supplements spread across two tiers.
The first tier of this bundle will cost you $19.95 and gets you four games:

The only one of these games that I’ve actually played is Mutant: Year Zero. I’ve written about it before. I really like the system at the core of this game. Like all of the best games, it uses a dice pool system, which is my favourite way to RPG. As mentioned in one of the previous links, the game also features a good base building system. It’s a lot of fun to set the direction of your settlement, shaping it to your own wants and needs.
The background and story is also really really solid. This is the original core book, but another few core books were also released, allowing players to choose to play as not only human mutants but humanoid animals and robots, too. The original book is the best starting point, though.
The other item in this tier that really grabs my interest is Vaesen. Vaesen is a horror game based on Nordic folklore. I love games like this, that draw on the rich, cultural imagination of our shared ancestry. In terms of rules, the game is based on the same core system as Mutant: Year Zero which, as I have already stated above, is pretty solid.
Upgrading to tier 2 will get you everything from the previous tier, plus some extra content. Priced on a threshold that is currently sitting at $38.78, the new content in this tier consists of two more games and a couple of supplements:

I was given Twilight 2000, but have yet to actually play it. I do have friends though, via the Unpossible Journeys Discord, who really rate this game. I trust their judgement, and flipping through the game, it does look excellent.
Similarly, Dragonbane gets a fantastic writeup with another friend from the same Discord, Wouter, who is obsessed with it. It’s a Swedish roleplaying game (Drakar och Demoner) previously published by a number of other companies before this recent revival.
The Vaesen supplement that is included in this tier is a fantastic one. I’ve read through it, and I love that Vaesen has come to embrace British folklore in addition to its standard Norwegiant mythology.
Both tiers of this bundle are fantastic. The first tier is probably more useful, but both have really fantastic games and, being British, it’s great that the second tier has the British folklore supplement to make Vaesen that little more relatable for me.
