Completed: A Pair of Grey Seers

Powering on with the Pestilens! Having finished a few things, it’s time to bring in some proper magic. Enter the Grey Seer!

Actually, I’ve managed to finish a pair of them! One new, one old. Let’s start with the newer, plastic one!

This chap was fun to paint I stuck with the dirty, yellowish lower robes with the subfaction-coded upper robes. That’s going to be my approach across the Skaven, I think.

Yeah, I’m pretty happy with this chap. The fur looks good, the robes are cool, the warpstone really pops, and the base looks alright, too.

Now, a wee while after finishing this guy, I primed up and painted a second Grey Seer. This is the old, metal one that came with the old Screaming Bell:

Do I really need this mini? Nah. I still painted him up, though. It seemed fun. And he was! There’s something to be said for the simplicity of these older minis. I don’t especially like working with metal miniatures, but still.

So there we are. Two Grey Seers. All I’ll need, I reckon. With these guys of the way, what’s next? Well, alongside the second Grey Seer, I primed up another 21 ratmen:

  • Another 20 Plague Monks
  • Verminlord Corruptor

The Verminlord was actually an absolute joy to build. Progress on both him and the Plague Monks is going well!
