Completed: Bell of Doom and Warp Lightning Vortex

Following on from yesterday’s Prismatic Palisade, here are more endless spells! This time, we have the Bell of Doom and the Warp Lightning Vortex. These are Skaven Endless spells, just to prove that I’ve not completely lost track of my Skaven!

Only mostly

I had originally intended to build all three spells, but then I saw just how many parts there were for Vermintide and I decided that I was just too tired. Seriously.

The spells are pretty simple, with each only using three colours, not counting the basing. The basing uses a texture and then five different paints, so I suppose the bases are technically the most complex bit here.

Anyway, here’s the bell:

Yeah, it’s cool. For the bulk, I used the same colour I’ve been using for the slimy liquid on the army’s bases to make it look like these are being brought up from the sewers. I did the same for the multi-part Warp Lightning Vortex spell:

Yeah, these are simple miniatures, but I’m happy enough with them for what they are, using straightforward schemes that match the army.

I’m working on the Gnawhole terrain pieces just now. There are a lot of wee bits to these, so I don’t think I’ll see them finished this week. I’ve also got another character to do for the Slow Grow. I should also push on with the Skaven and get my last unit of 20 Plague Monks built up and primed.
