Completed: Chaos Dwarf Infernal Guard Seneschal

Following on from my Prophet-Sorcerer, I’ve finished up the second model for this army, my Infernal Guard Seneschal, I might actually take that banner on his back and use him as my battle standard bearer. We’ll see.

It turned out fine. I’m not sure happy with the colour scheme, finding it a tad samey. I’ve committed to it now, though. I’m still working on the Infernal Guard for him to lead, but I’m hoping they won’t take that much longer.

Being part of the Slow Grow campaign, I suppose I’d better include a wee backstory. It’s not especially original, but here goes:

Uruk Flameheart

Amidst the ashen landscape of dread Zharr-Naggrund, a loyal and ruthless servant rose through the ranks of the Infernal Guard, standing as a formidable Seneschal. Uruk Flameheart, marked by both unwavering loyalty to Zarnak the Accursed and a zeal for destruction in the name of Hashut, became a living embodiment of the merciless forces that fueled the Prophet-Sorcerer’s war machine.

Born into servitude, Uruk exhibited exceptional martial prowess from a young age. His innate cruelty and a thirst for bloodshed attracted the attention of the commanders of the Infernal Guard, who recognized in him the potential to become a fearsome warrior.

Under the brutal training regimen of the Infernal Guard, Uruk honed his skills with a variety of weapons and mastered the intricate art of war. His loyalty to Zarnak and unwavering commitment to the ideals of Hashut elevated him to the esteemed position of Infernal Seneschal, charged with leading the Eternal Guard into battle and enforcing the will of the Prophet-Sorcerer.

Uruk Flameheart’s appearance struck fear into the hearts of the enemies of Zharr-Naggrund. Adorned in twisted armor, forged in the fires of daemonic furnaces, he carried a cruel-bladed weapon known as the Axe of Annihilation, a symbol of his merciless dedication to the destruction of those who defied the will of Hashut.

In battle, Uruk was a relentless force, leading the Eternal Guard with brutal efficiency. His tactics were ruthless, exploiting the weaknesses of his enemies with calculated precision. The fires of the volcanic realm reflected in his eyes as he carved a path through the ranks of his opposition, leaving only chaos and despair in his wake.

Beyond the battlefield, Uruk was a devout follower of Zarnak’s prophetic visions. He believed in the inevitable ascendancy of the Chaos Dwarfs and the fulfillment of the dark prophecies that guided their actions. Uruk’s unwavering loyalty extended to the darker aspects of Chaos, and he reveled in the sacrificial rituals that fueled the dark powers of Hashut.

Despite his loyalty to Zarnak, Uruk Flameheart faced challenges from within Zharr-Naggrund. Some among the Infernal Guard questioned the severity of his methods and the bloodthirsty nature of his leadership. However, Uruk’s martial prowess and unyielding devotion to the Prophet-Sorcerer silenced dissent, securing his position as a trusted enforcer of Hashut’s will.

In the shadow of Zharr-Naggrund’s towering ziggurats, Uruk Flameheart, the Infernal Seneschal of the Eternal Guard, stands ready to execute the dark ambitions of his masters. As the Chaos Dwarfs advance on the Old World, Uruk’s savage prowess on the battlefield and fervent dedication to the prophetic vision of Zarnak make him a terror to all who oppose the relentless march of the Legion of Zharr.
