Orbital Blues is a rules-light (this is a big plus for me!), lo-fi game of cowboys in space, released by Soulmuppet Publishing. In describing itself tonally, it invokes the likes of Cowboy Bebop, Firefly, and Guardians of the Galaxy. I love the idea of a gig-economy-based RPG in a run-down sci-fi setting. This ticks a lot of boxes for me!
This latest offering from Bundle of Holding includes the core game and a whole bunch of interesting supplements. As is usually the case with such packages, the content is split across two tiers. The first of these tiers costs $7.95 and gets you three items:

Weighing in at 200 pages, the core book contains everything you really need to play the game. It’s got the rules,. background, some inspirational art, an adventure, and a handful of adventure seeds. This is the starting point for a whole pile of trouble, adventure, troublesome adventure, and maybe even some adventurous trouble.
All that Glitters looks like a solid shout for me, too. As a supplement, it promises things I like. Corporate intrigue, uprising, pirates, and heists. This does somewhat feel like they’ve targeted a supplement specifically at me.
The second tier is priced on a threshold. At the time of writing, it is sitting at $18.03. For this price, you will get everything in the first tier, plus another four items:

A Starborn Resistance is a highlight of this tier for me. It contains a whole bunch of content, including NPCs, character creation tools and adventure hooks that all combine to give you a hub-world for your campaigns. This would also be great as a part of a premise for an opt-in/out-out series of one-shits with a rotating group, which is a play style that has gone down with our club members in the past.
I also like the look of Everjoy. It’s just a compelling setting. It depicts an abandoned amusement park; deserted and decaying. Evocative, that.
The bundle price at both levels seems pretty fair. For all that’s there, I do think that both tiers are valid and attractive deals. I’d probably pick up tier 2 and just get the whole thing, just to go and embark on some interesting sci-fi escapdes.
