Spirit of 77 is a Powered by Apocalypse RPG designed by David Kizzia and Bob Richardson. Emulating the characters and stories of cult 1970s film and TV, it also gives a generous nod to the Exploitation Film genre. The setting is a mix of the ’70s with a twist: think UFOs, secret tech, and Nixon selling out the Watergate Plumbers to cling to his office. Ford even wins the ’76 election!
Bundle of Holding is currently selling it at a steep discount. As is usual for these bundles, this one is split into two tiers. The first tier costs $9.95 and contains the following items:

The core book is obviously the most important item here. It gives you everything you need to play the game. This includes the rules, lots of background on this particular vision of the 1970s, and the all-important playbooks that so define PbtA games.
In addition to the core book, you’ve got Wide World of 77, a substantial expansion to the core game that features new locations, roles, and some premade adventures. This really builds on the core game, giving more options and some fun-sounding stories for your group to explore.
There are also a couple of compilations of adventures in the form of a pair of ‘Greatest Hits’ books. A third volume of these has recently been released on DriveThruRPG.
The second tier of the bundle is priced on a threshold. At the time of writing, that threshold is sitting at $18.51. Pay this amount and you’ll get everything from the first tier, plus some more stuff:

These are really just a bunch of adventures. In terms of value, the actual meat of this bundle is in the first tier. Almost doubling the price to just add a few adventures doesn’t feel all that worth it. I’m interested in this bundle, but the furthest I’m willing to go is the first tier. I just don’t see as much value in the second, especially when we’re already getting a lot of adventures in the first tier through the first two Greatest Hits volumes. Yeah, the first tier is a solid, fantastic deal. I wouldn’t bother with the second.
