Throwback Thursday: Alternative C’Tan Miniatures

The point of Throwback Thursday is to draw attention to posts from the past that may still be of interest.  It’s why I focus on the more individual posts and not on old bundles or 5 on Friday posts.  There’s no real value to those formulaic posts several years later, you know?

So, I try to use Throwback Thursday to draw attention to interesting posts from previous years that might have some evergreen quality to them.  There are some years where I’ll have a lot to draw on, and others that are a bit more sparse.  Once we hit the last couple of years, there will be a lot more content to draw on, as I feel that we’ve really stepped up in recent years, and I am edging towards 2 years of daily posts.

It feels a little disingenuous, therefore, to try to use Throwback Thursday to drive traffic to today’s post.  It already makes up over a quarter of all traffic to this blog and has spawned a pair of popular follow-up articles.

It’s a post all about C’Tan, the star gods that were enslaved by the Necrons in the Warhammer 40,000 setting.  I really enjoy putting together alternative miniature posts, and this one is the most popular post I’ve ever done on this site:
