The Space Marines of Warhammer 40,000 are split into a number of chapters. These are organisations of around 1,000 Space Marines with their own history, customs, colours, and heraldry. They have their own heroes and their own war stories. It’s a big part of that particular setting.
Our local club, The Northern Knights, launched a chapter design contest. Each participant was given a selection of randomly generated names and sent off to devise a chapter with its own history and colour scheme. This post, linked below, was the start of our coverage of that contest.
No Rerolls 
I’ve been thinking about a chapter for myself, I do not do the miniatures part of the hobby tho. A mix of World Eater and Word Bearer called the Word Eaters. A loyalist chapter stemming from unmodified World Eaters, that somehow escaped the nails and are hellbent on exacting pain on the Word Bearers for their treachery, especially that of Erebus, cuase, screw that guy. lol

I do like this kind of thing, its one of the things that makes the hobby such fun. I made up my own Stormhost for AoS, the Iron Peacocks, comprising bits and pieces of other stormhosts ( because I struggle to stick with one paint scheme 😄) and for lore/fluff reasons
