Back when I started putting together my noble Flesh-Eater Courts, I dug out my old, metal Green Knight miniature to use as my Varghulf. He was already a little small on the Varghulf’s then-60mm base. He was comically small on the Varghulf’s newer, bigger base. I replaced him with a bigger, greener Knight.
I rebased him onto a 50mm base and just painted him up as a second Crypt Haunter Courtier:
A quick and dirty paintjob, but suitably vibrant.
One slight issue, and it’s one that’s shared with the other Crypt Haunter who is also based on old GW metals, is that the scale is a bit small in comparison with the Crypt Horrors with him they will hang out. In all honesty, the army is kind of all over the place in terms of scale, what with the plastic minis from different manufacturers and eras, the metals, the 3D prints from different designers…
Yeah, I’m happy with this mini, even if if it’s a little scrappy round the edges.
