This one was fun! It also really quick. I settled down to do maybe a colour or two before bed, but ended up just finishing the whole thing. I went with red and black in order to signify ‘cardinal’. It made sense:
I played a game of AoS the day after I painted her. I wasn’t fielding an Abhorrant Cardinal, but I wanted to bring her along and show her off. I ended up using her as a Marrowscroll Herald (even though I had already painted 2 of these) just so I could get her to the table. She looked great among the blue Crypt Guard!
I’ve got a second, similar character to paint up as an alternative to Goremayne. I’m looking forward to doing that one, too!
