Sometimes, when working on a project, we know exactly what we’re doing, and we stick precisely to that plan. Sometimes, we freestyle a little along the way.
This Wizard Lord is a miniature that I printed a while back to test some settings. Given it’s from the same set as the rest of the army, I thought I may as well paint him up for my Empire.

He was a quick one!
All I need to finish up now is the character I actually intended to do, a Captain with Battle Standard. He would bring my fledgling Empire army to 1,000 points and put an end to this project for now.

I like the colors! Not often that you see a Wizard in that shade of green. 🙂

Aeldari Emerald might just be my favourite paint.

I’ll have to check it out. What color did you use for the ball in his hand?

Another contrast, Frostheart. Very versatile. I use it for the blue armour on my GSC, too.

Oh nice! I haven’t checked out many of the newer Contrast paints. I think the only thing I have is a couple yellows and maybe an orange.

Yea, that’s probably been my most used Contrast paint ever.
