It’s been about a month since we last looked at where we were, hobbyise. Since then, I’ve largely been powering through the food fight miniatures. All in all, I’ve really enjoyed painting them up. They’re such cheerful, cool miniatures. I need to get some more of them printed and primed so I can do paint up another batch!
In the meantime, I’ve been working on some miniatures that I picked up over the summer. These were the new Festus and some Sloven Knights. I’m workin’ on some Maggotkin! For reference, here’s what festus used to look like:
The new version of festus really represents a glow-up. He’s more rotund, and he has a new friend. I’m not sure how he played in the game, but he’s a lovely centrepiece model.

Once he’s done, next up will be a trio of knights to escort him! The new Sloven Knights are fantastic miniatures, and my only real complaints about the kit are the lack of choice of weapons and the fact that some of the knights are quite difficult to fit together. Still, here are the primed minis:
I dunno how these guys will be to paint. They’re not looking too fiddly.
I don’t know what will be next after them… maybe the Chaos Knights?
Probably not…
Perhaps some Necrons? Maybe some Daemons?
We’ll see.
