Not much painting this week. I just wasn’t really feeling it until I did manage to just sit down and get a Chronomancer done on Monday evening. I do think it’s starting to look unlikely that I’m going to hit 200 miniatures by the end of the year. It would need me to finish 70 miniatures over November and December.
What I did get done was some building. I wrote about a possible GSC list this week, and I spent some time building the Tyranids that I’ll need for the allied units in that list. Specifically, I built 10 Hyperadapted Raveners, 9 Von Ryan’s Leapers, and the Death Leaper:

I’ll texture the bases next weekend, but I don’t see myself painting these any time soon. I should really focus on the backlog of Necrons first.
I built some more Tyranids, but these are an actual unit for the GSC, the Purestrain Genestealers:

A nice easy build but, again, I’ll not be painting these immediately. Necrons first!
Speaking of painting Necrons, each of my various C’Tan are a different colour of metal. I attempted purple on my old Nightbringer and it did not turn out well. I grabbed these to give it another go on the new mini:

I’m looking forward to seeing how they work out. The Nightbringer mini is a daunting one to paint, but then so was the Void Dragon, and he turned out pretty well. We’ll see how it all goes.
I did manage to make a little bit of progress on a handful of Necrons. Here are the Doomstalkers, who have now had their first drybrush:

It’s a little bit of progress. I’ll take it!
