It’s nice to paint some Gitz again. It’s been a wee while. These miniatures started off life, and entered my collection, as an Underworlds Warband; Rippas Snarlfangs. They saw a lot of play in Destruction armies back in second edition. That’s why I bought them.
Then third edition rolled around and they were no longer usable. As such, I shelved them and didn’t bother to paint them. That was, until fourth edition rolled around.
This edition, they have been repackaged and repurposed as a generic boss character for the Gitmob; the wolfy side of the Gloomspite Gitz army. So, here they are; my Snarlboss (centre) and his Wolfgit Retinue (flanking), all painted up:
And that’s the first of my Gitmob miniatures done! I’ve got some more to work away on, but I’m gonna need to pick up a fair amount if I want an all-wolf army.
As I add to this force, we’ll see how that develops. I don’t think I’ll be immediately working on more wolves.
