Possible Tournament Lists (Maggotkin and Gitz)

I’ve got a little, one-day event coming up at the end of the month. Taking a drive down to Inverness for it and I’m a bit stuck on what to take. I don’t do many of these events, so I’d like to have a good go at it. I’ve been thinking about what army to take, and about what list I’d like to go with. I’m really looking at three lists just now.

List 1: Mixed Maggotkin

I really enjoyed playing this list the other night. I enjoy the Maggotkin of Nurgle a lot, and I also like how my army is painted. This is important as well, as I’d like to have a good shot at the best-painted army. Here’s the list I am considering:

As of last week, the list is fully painted and good to go. It also features one of my favourite models from my collection, the fancy Gnarlmaw:

I’ll take a normal Gnarlmaw along too, seeing as I know people can be a bit iffy about the different base sizes.

List 2: Squiggly Beasts!

Next up is a delightfully bouncy list of squigs. I’ve really enjoyed my games with the squigs so far this book. They’ve proven to be fun, and pretty powerful. The ability to bring so many squigs back via the herders has been particularly excellent. Good stuff! Here’s my adjusted list, following the recent point increases:

I think this list will be a lot of fun, even though I can’t fit any endless spells in any more. As with the Maggotkin, the list is also lovely and colourful:

I’d like to have a chance at best painted, so having a pretty army is definitely a factor here. For finishing the army, it’s the Snufflers that I’d need to finish up; 6 models in all.
