I’ve long been a fan of the Final Fantasy series of video games. One thing I love about the series is the absolutely top-class minigames that some of them have. Blitzball from FFX is many people’s favourite part of that game. My favourite was Final Fantasy 8’s Triple Triad.
I loved that game. Heck, I lived that game for years, being part of online communities who played the game, and even helping to run one such site for a while.
Enter Sellswords.
This wee card game is not Triple Triad, but it does take some cues from it. I picked it up on Holiday once, and it saw a lot of play in our downtime.
I ended up writing a short review of this wee gem. It’s a bit less detailed than some of my more recent reviews, but I think I convey my enjoyment of the game pretty clearly:
No Rerolls 
The card games in FF8 and FFX were my favorite parts of those respective games as well. Its really cool to see they inspired a physical game. I might just have to pick this one up! Thanks for sharing this.
