I’ve finished up a Blood Bowl team! It’s been years since I last painted a Blood Bowl team, and this is the first of Games Workshop’s line of plastics (which started with the release of the 2016 edition) that I’ve painted. I went for Nurgle!
Scheme-wise, I went with the same colours that I use for my Maggotkin of Nurgle army for Age of Sigmar. This means turquoise and pink. Here’s the completed team:
They turned out ok. I slightly regret going with Plaguebearer Flesh for the Pestigor, rather than Militarum Green. I think that would have been a better match. Still, I’m happy with the team as a whole.
What I don’t have is a Beast of Nurgle. I do have, for AoS, a Nurgle Spawn and a few (6) Beast of Nurgle. I could use these:
The thing is, they don’t quite fit, do they? I might look to pick up the official one, although I’m not s huge fan of the mini:
Maybe there’s a good STL I could use? I’ll look into it.
