Completed: Monkey D. Luffy

I’m not really a fan of One Piece, at least not yet. I’ve not long started watching it, mostly because a kid at work has identified it as an obsession. It would benefit me to familiarise myself with the show! As such, I have printed a little batch of Luffy miniatures to paint with this child.

To see how the prints turned out, I painted one up. This was done in about half an hour, and I think I did pretty well in this time. The prints are okay as well. Some of the supports could have been cleaned off better, but I was in a hurry! Some of the minis went onto leftover wooden bases from my Wizards, which could represent a pirate ship, and maybe some maps and stuff, whilst others went on blanks that I’ll add some sand to when I get a chance.

I took a wood base for my one:

So, yeah, this was an unexpected miniature, but I’m happy to have it done. The STL came from RN Estudio, which produces a lot of really cool stuff.

It was a lot of fun to paint, just slithering on block colours with contrast paints. To be honest, this is pretty much how I paint anyway

I’m currently putting some finishing touches to my Kairic Acolytes, so I hope to share those soon!
