I need to read Dune. I only got around to watching the movie a few weeks ago when it got added to Netflix, and I’m now very keen to go and see the sequel. I get the impression from that film, and from knowing the size of the book series, that there will be a big, well-developed universe attached to those stories; one that gives fertile soil for adventures.
Enter Modiphius.
Modiphius put out a Dune RPG which is currently on offer over at Humble Bundle. The bundle consists of 17 items and will set you back a mere £14.19. Here’s the content that you’re getting for your money:
As with most of Modiphius’ games, this is based on their 2D20 system. The core rulebook is here, along with lots of the content that’s been released so far. Not all of it, mind. Most, though.
I don’t know enough about the game to say all that much about this one. I’m tempted to pick it up, though. I like a sci-fi setting that puts politics front and centre. Yeah, I’m keen to learn more, and at this price, why not?

No Rerolls 
The books are definitely worth a read, not least because it is so easy now to see the huge influence they had on other settings… for example the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
