Games Workshop produce amazing miniatures for Blood Bowl, but there are also lots of other companies producing fantastic fantasy football minis. I made a few posts looking at some of these miniatures, starting with the classic combo of Orcs and Humans.
I look at several options for each team. I could have brought in lots more options, but I stuck to some that I really liked. I didn’t go hugely into 3D-printable options, as that wasn’t something about which I was knowledgable at the time.

No Rerolls 
I still have fond memories of playing the original Blood Bowl with its paper stand-ups for players. These days, I’m a fan of both Willy and Greebo’s team ranges. There’s so many to choose from now with the advent of 3D printing.

Yes, if I return to this series now, 3D print options would have to feature more heavily.

I didn’t get into the game until 3rd and the CRP came about. But I’ve heard the earlier rules were pretty crazy. As Dave mentioned, there are some really nice alternative minis out there. I end up subbing out GW minis I don’t like for Willy or other minis. Like that first GW Troll, yuck!
