Good morning! Last week, I shared that I was in something of a slump when it came to painting… and most other things, too. I’m looking to reinstate a regular Wednesday slot to really focus on hobby stuff and try to hold myself accountable. That said, I’m away for the next couple of weeks, so I won’t be hobbying in that time.
The first things I’ve lined up to get out of the slump are these RPG minis:

I picked these up via Kickstarter a couple of years ago. I’m hoping to run an RPG campaign in the near future that uses these as character minis. I’m also working on a bunch of NPCs, monsters, and the like.
I also made a start on painting them up:

I think little batches are the way to go. And, hey, slow progress is still progress! I reckon I’ll get these done pretty quickly and hopefully be able to share some of them soonish.
I’ve also previously posted some stuff that I’d built, starting with some Fallout Factions minis:

They’re nice minis. They’re also pretty achievable in terms of a project. Since taking those photos, I’ve primed them, so they’re good to start on once I finish up the Food Fight minis.
Of course, I also have these big lads…

They’re pretty daunting, truth be told. I’m not really sure what I am doing with them.
I’m also working on some custom proxy decks for Commander. First up, a Mardu Orc Tribal deck based on World of Warcraft’s Horde faction:

I’m happy with how these are looking.
I’m also working on a Gandalf, Westward Voyager deck based on Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End:

I’ve printed most of these up and have tried a couple of games. I can see how the deck should work, but it’s never quite popped off for me yet.
So, yeah, lots going on… but it’s immediately going to stop as I head off to visit family next week. I’ll be away for a couple of weeks, but I hope to get back on it when I return!

A lot of stuff starting off nicely there! 🙂
