Festus is a great character, and is part of a great army. I love my Maggotkin of Nurgle, even if I slightly regret the turquoise and pink colour scheme. The 2026 edition of Festus the Leechlord is such a cool glow-up from the original miniature. Here’s my original Festus, which I painted back in 2023:
Now, the most recent version of the chap is available and I picked him up on a bit of a whim. I’m not sure that the lists I’m considering for my Maggotkin are going to include him, but I like him and wanted to paint him.

I’m pretty happy with him! He matches the colour scheme well, and seems in a good mood with his sluggy buddy.
