Either way, hey! I’m still meandering a bit with my painting, rather than settling to something specific. Earlier in the week this resulted in a batch of Chaos Spawn. Today, it’s a pair of Chaos Kitties. These are one of the many, many units that migrated from Warcry, over to the Slaves to Darkness book.
My initial intention was to ally (coalition) them in with my Maggotkin of Nurgle, but they’ve been changed quite considerably with their new rules. They just don’t really do what I need them to do any more. That’s Okay. I could still see them getting some use in Warcry, or maybe in my Slaves to Darkness. The Slaves will be painted up in a similar way to my mortal Maggotkin (similar to Bloab and the Pusgoyles), so I’ve followed the same scheme here.
I think I prefer the lighter-skinned version. I just think he turned out that wee bit better. Both look alright though.
I wonder what’s next.
