Completed: Aarakocra Soldier (Fighter/Ranger)

In another of my infrequent goes at painting up D&D characters, I’ve just finished an Aarakocra archer. This could be a ranger or a soldier. Someone at our local club has a habit of playing pretty similar characters from game to game, so it seemed a safe bet to make him one of these!

I printed it up, put it together, primed it, and set to work:

The detail was a bit small, so it wasn’t the easiest thing to paint. I’ve also not cleaned up the print quite as well as I could have, but I’m happy with it overall. I went with the same method for the wings that I previously used with my “Terrorgheist”. That was pretty simple but really effective.

I’m looking forward to handing this one over next time I make it along to a Tuesday night session.
