Having recently written about plans for a Flesh-Eater Courts army, and sharing my progress on conversions for it, I’ve finished the first model for this force. He’s also the General!
This was a lot of fun to put together, and I especially enjoyed the basing. It was just a lot of fun to plan and them build. The basing was really important on this model because it really is a it too small for that base, and the basing helps to distract from this.

I’m currently working on building some troops to go with him. I did not have any, or rather enough, Bretonnian Men at Arms, so I picked up some Fireforge models to use instead.
This is a project I can’t say that I entirely intended to do this year, but here we are! It’s a bit of fun, innit. I’m increasingly of the opinion that now that I have a few usable armies finished up for AoS (Ironjawz, Maggotkin, Troggoths, Sons of Behemat), I can kind of just potter away and paint whatever takes my fancy. It’s a nice position to be in.
