Final Fantasy Tactics was a game that completely bypassed me at the time. If course, I live in a country where it was never released for the original Playstation, so I only vaguely knew of it through the internet. And this was before the internet was comprehensive and all-consuming, so what I did know was sparse.
My first real, meaningful interaction with anything to do with the game was actually via the Triple Triad deck based on the game, used on the Triple Triad X website. When we were looking at possibly putting together a new site a few years back, I revamped the deck. Since this was one of my favourite TTX decks, I was really keen to update it and improve the appearance. I think I managed to do as well as I could, given the available art.

Now, something worth noting was that I was sticking to the structure set out by the old deck. This included multiple Chocobos, despite a lack of available art. The yellow Chocobo art was therefore not used to depict the yellow Chocobo, and instead the art used was on that depicted a ridden Chocobo. I then recoloured the standard Chocobo art in red and black variants for the red and black Chocobo cards. There was also some repositioning of the image. I think they ended up different enough from one another.
